Description
White Drumstick Primrose.
Drumstick primrose, a real early bloomer, already unfolds its beautiful flower balls in March. They consist of a multitude of small, funnel-shaped single flowers. The delicate petals of Primula denticulata variation Alba, shine in a pure, snowy white, the middle of the flower shines in a sunny yellow.
The plant is called drumstick primrose because of its uniquely-shaped flowers, rounded flower clusters atop its solid stems. The flowers form a circle and bloom in white, blue, violet, red, or pink, adorned with a delicate, golden eye. The flower stems are tall, and rise above a clump of lance-shaped, wrinkly leaves.
