A set of three individual images, derived from photography of a statue created in Thailand, showing the literary charakter Phra Aphai Mani, which means "Peace and non-violence."
'Phra Aphai Mani' is a fictional story written by Thailand's best-known poet, Sunthon Phu (C.E. 1786-1855). It is written entirely in verse, the epic poem is 30,000 lines long and considered to be a masterpiece of Thai literature. Being also part of Thai folklore it has been adapted into films and comics. Phra Aphai Mani is one of the best-loved stories in all Thai Literature.
